Workshops

Each workshop focuses on a specific intersection of confidence and spending behavior. They are designed to be taken in sequence or as standalone sessions.

Session 01

Money and the Self: The Basic Connection

This session introduces the framework that underlies everything else on the platform. It covers what self-esteem actually is (not confidence, not success, something quieter), how it shapes decision-making broadly, and why financial behavior is a particularly clear window into it.

Participants leave with a basic map of their own spending tendencies and a vocabulary for describing them.

Session 02

The Impulse and the Pause

A focused session on impulsive spending. Not the extreme version that makes headlines, but the everyday kind: the cart that fills up when you're stressed, the small purchases that accumulate in a bad week, the upgrade you didn't plan for but felt necessary.

The session traces these moments back to their emotional source and introduces practical observation tools for creating more space between feeling and action.

Session 03

The Other Side: When Restriction Becomes a Pattern

Restrictive spending gets far less attention than impulsive spending, which is part of why it persists. This session is for people who find it difficult to spend on themselves, who feel guilt around purchases even when finances are stable, or who use frugality as a form of self-punishment.

The session examines where the belief "I don't deserve this" comes from and what maintaining it costs beyond money.

Session 04

Spending From Values, Not Wounds

The integration session. Having mapped patterns across earlier sessions, participants work on identifying what their actual values are (not what they think they should be) and what it would look like for spending decisions to reflect those values rather than emotional states.

This session involves a structured values-mapping exercise and individual reflection time. It is the most personally demanding of the four.
